UT Tyler Stays Unbeaten in Women's Soccer
UT Tyler stayed unbeaten on the young season as the Patriots downed Southwestern 3-0 Sunday in a women's soccer match at Citizens 1st Bank-Perkins Soccer Complex.

Scoring goals for the Patriots (3-0-1) were Lauren Thomas, Kelsey Kemp and Amanda Thomas. Lauren Daily had two assists, while Jessica Pierce added one as well.

The Patriots had 16 shots on goal, while Southwestern added five.

Sam Fraser was in goal had three saves.

On Friday, UT Tyler tied Trinity 2-2.

Pierce scored off a cornerkick by Kelly Buchanan and Kendall Kramer scored on a cross pass from Lauren Thomas.

The Patriots return to play Sept. 18 against Mississippi College in Clinton, Miss. UT Tyler returns home on Sept. 25 against Hardin-Simmons.
