TJC Takes Last Minute Win Over Cedar Valley
Lyle Bennett scored with 10 minutes remaining in the second half, giving Tyler Junior College a 4-3 victory against Cedar Valley on Saturday night at Pat Hartley Field.
TJC (5-0) had goals by Kareem Frietas, Kenny Mena and Lyle Bennett. Bennett’s goal tied the game with 15 minutes left in the second half.
TJC won the battles in shots on goal (12-3) and corner kicks (6-2).
Cedar Valley fell to 3-2.
