Monday To Bring Chance For Rain
Saturday was a pleasant day in the region, with an increasing likelihood for showers Monday night into Tuesday morning as the next cold front drops in from the north.
Hurricane Ike still poses a major question regarding the area's weather at late-week.
Skies were clear to fair again on Saturday.
Winds were northeasterly to easterly at 5-15 mph, which was bringing in dry and milder air.

Saturday's temperatures ran near Friday's, and were about 6 degrees cooler than normal.
Slightly higher readings are likely Sunday and Monday, with a turn back to cooler temperatures for Tuesday.
Winds should veer into the east and southeast by Monday, going back into the northwest behind Monday night's cold front.
Low temperatures in the area Saturday morning were from the high 50s in the east to the high 60s in the southwest. 60-degree readings are likely Sunday morning, with near 70-degree temperatures for both Monday and Tuesday mornings.
Afternoon highs were in the 80s. Near 90-degree temperatures are forecast for Sunday and Monday afternoons, with 80s again for Tuesday behind the cold front.
