Whitehouse Heartbreakers Win State Championship
The Whitehouse Heartbreakers recently won the Texas Teenage Association of Softball state championship in the 10-and-under division (Midget Girls Division).

The Heartbreakers were 12-0 during the regular season and 6-0 at the state tournament. The Whitehouse squad defeated the Salado Lynx, 11-1, in the championship game.

A total of 169 teams played in the TTAS Midget Girls Division with 20 teams making the state tournament, which was held in Whitehouse. Pitcher Ronnie Fountain was named Defensive Player of the tournament, while shortstop Micah Gray was voted Most Valuable Player.
