Bowie Pirates: What to Expect
Simms James Bowie has a bevy of experience with 16 seniors. Behind them are juniors that have played two full years of a junior varsity schedule.

The Pirates have made the playoffs each of the last two years, but the district has improved from a four-team league to a membership of six teams.

X-factor
Simms James Bowie is pinning its hopes on the very capable Nic Pistolis, a 5-11, 185-pound running back. Pistolis rushed for 1,500 yards on 201 carries last year and scored 23 touchdowns.
