Emergency personnel responded to the 3300 block of South Broadway Avenue, just north of the Amherst Road intersection, on a four-vehicle pile-up around 11:19 this morning. All four vehicles were traveling southbound on South Broadway when the collision occurred, according to Donald Martin, Tyler Police Department public information officer.

A silver Toyota driven by Tina Fults, 36, of Tyler ran into the back of a silver Ford driven by Sharyn Clark, 54, of Tyler, and Fults’ vehicle went airborne and rolled over on its top, Martin said in a prepared statement. Clark’s vehicle was pushed into a black Mazda pickup being driven by Amy Miles, 32, of Tyler, and a burgundy Hummer driven by Robin Zillena of Tyler.

Fults was treated at East Texas Medical Center, Martin’s statement said. Clark and Miles were treated at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital, according to Martin. Zillena was not transported by EMS. All injuries were non-life threatening, Martin said.

Four vehicles were involved in an accident at the corner of Braodway and Amherst in Tyler before noon today, sending three of the four drivers to local hospitals.
