Texarkana's Kennedy Leads Division In Lietke Classic
PLANO -- Texarkana's Cole Kennedy leads his division after Monday's first round in the Texas Legends Junior Tour's Bruce Lietzke Junior Golf Classic at Gleneagles Country Club.
Kennedy carded a 76 to lead by one stroke over Cody Hardison of Plano and Branson Davis of McKinney in the Boys 14 & under division.
Quitman's Jake Gorman is sixth at 80, while Nacogdoches' Colin Frizzell is eighth at 84.
In Girls 15-18, Canton's Jordan Bozeman is fifth at 85. Michelle Chen of Plano leads with an 80.
McKenzie Mueller of Dallas leads the Boys 15-18 division with a 83, one stroke ahead of Cole Horowitz of Dallas and J. Paul Aube III of Heath.
Paris' Stuart Smallwood is tied for 16th with a 78.
