Two 'Jenkins' Wells On Tap For Harrison

DEVELOPMENTAL
Harrison County

  • O'Benco, Inc. will prepare to drill the Jenkins "A" Unit Well No. 15 and the Jenkins "A" Unit Well No. 16 in the Darco, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field. The wells will be drilled 9.2 south of Marshall in the Carroll, E Survey, A-135 and will bottom at 10,350 feet. The No. 15 may also be drilled in a wildcat field, the Blocker (Page) Field or the Blocker (Travis Peak) Field. The No. 16 may also be drilled in the Blocker (Travis Peak) Field, a wildcat field, the Blocker (Rodessa) Field or the Blocker (Page) Field.

  • In a lease 12.2 miles southeast of Marshall, the Gibson Gas Unit Well No. 2H is being prepared for drilling by Penn Virginia Oil & Gas LP. It will bottom at 14,000 feet in a wildcat field and will lie in the Mondays, S Survey, A-14. It may also be drilled in the Hardwood (Cotton Valley) Field, Carthage, North (Cotton Valley) Field or the Bethany (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field.

  • Preston Exploration LLC will drill the Cook Well No. 1 in the Hardwood (Cotton Valley) Field. Location will be five miles southeast of Marshall in the Shoto, S Survey, A-632 with a depth of 13,000 feet. It may also be drilled in the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field or a wildcat field.

  • The Smith, T.P. Estate 'C' Well No. 8H will be drilled by Comstock Oil & Gas LP in the Waskom (Cotton Valley) Field. It will bottom at 9,800 feet in the Simpson Holloway Survey, A-295. Location will be 4.1 miles southwest of Waskom.

  • In a lease five miles southwest of Hallsville, in a wildcat field, the Loftis Gas Unit Well No. 12 will be drilled to 11,500 feet by Enervest Operating LLC. It will lie in the Real, A Survey, A-594 and may also be drilled in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field.

  • A wildcat field will see the Baldwin Well No. 14H drilled by GMX Resources Inc. to 13,000 feet. It will be located 10 miles southeast of Marshall in the Williams, W Survey, A-757. It may also be drilled in the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field.

  • The Vann-McElroy Gas Unit Well No. 3 will be drilled by Sandridge Exploration and Production LLC in a wildcat field. It will be located 5.5 miles east of Hallsville in the Gillet, C Survey, A-9 with a depth of 14,000 feet. It may also be drilled in the Hallsville, Northeast (Cotton Valley) Field.

  • In a lease 9.9 miles south of Marshall in the Darco, Southeast (Cotton Valley) Field, the Doyle Harris Gas Unit Well No. 8 will be drilled by O'Benco Inc. Total depth will be 12,000 feet in the Duncan, M Survey, A-197, and it may also be drilled in a wildcat field or the Carthage, North (Bossier Shale) Field.

  • Cherokee County

    Marathon Oil Co. will drill the McClendon Gas Unit 1 Well No. 11H in the White Oak Creek (Pettit) Field. It will bottom at 14,000 feet, 6.9 miles west of Alton in the Johnson, W M Survey, A-460.

    Freestone County

  • In a lease 6.2 miles south of Dew in the Dew (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field, Hunt Petroleum Corp. is preparing to drill the Ora Blair Well No. 3 to 13,300 feet in the Russell, M Survey, A-528. It may also be drilled in a wildcat field.

  • XTO Energy Inc. will prepare to drill the Henderson Gas Unit Well No. 27, the Henderson Gas Unit Well No. 31, the Butler Gas Unit Well No. 16 and the Butler Gas Unit Well No. 17 in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. The No. 27 well will be located five miles southeast of Teague with a depth of 13,200 feet. The No. 31 well will be located six miles southeast of Teague with a depth of 12,900 feet. Both wells will lie in the John Lawrence Survey, A-364. The No. 16 well will be located three miles southeast of Teague. The No. 17 well will be located 3.3 miles southeast of Teague. Both wells will lie in the O'Neal, F Survey, A-728 with a depth of 13,200 feet.

  • The Gilliam "B" No. 1 Gas Unit Well No. 30 is being prepared for drilling by XTO Energy Inc. The well bottom at 13,500 feet in the Freestone (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. It will be located 5.3 miles northwest of Donie and will lie in the Chavert, J L Survey, A-10.

  • XTO Energy Inc. is preparing to drill the Weldon Montgomery Gas Unit II Well No. 1 to 13,300 feet in the Teague (Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated) Field. It will be located two miles northwest of Teague and will lie in the Brewer, G Survey, A-5.

  • Gregg County

    The Griffin Ranch Gas Unit 2 Well No. 15 is being prepared for drilling by Exco Operating Co. LP. It will bottom at 13,000 feet in the Danville (Travis Peak Consolidated) Field and be located 4.2 miles northeast of Kilgore. It will lie in the Edwards, H Survey, A-64.

    Houston County

  • The Tickner Well No. 1H is being prepared for drilling by Petroquest Energy LLC to 9,600 feet in the Sand Branch Creek (Buda) Field. Location will be 13.4 miles southeast of Crockett. It will lie in Wier, O Survey, A-93.

  • Barrow-Shaver Resources Co. will drill the Vulcraft Well No. 1 in a wildcat field. Location will be 13.4 miles northwest of Crockett with a depth of 9,000 feet in the Hollingsworth, G M Survey, A-556. It may also be drilled in the Grapeland, Northeast (Woodbine) Field or the Grapeland Field.

  • Leon County

  • Forest Oil Corp. is preparing to drill the Ike Watson Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 6 to 13,000 feet in the Jewett (Travis Peak) Field. Location will be 1.13 miles southeast of Jewett. It will lie in the Rockwell, C Survey, A-724.

  • The Haynie Well No. 1 will be drilled 2.9 miles southwest of Jewett in the Bear Grass (Travis Peak) Field by BRG Lone Star Ltd. It will bottom at 11,500 feet in the Hearn, T B Survey, A-351. The well may also be drilled in the Bear Grass (Pettit) Field, the Branton (Rodessa) Field.

  • In a lease 3.5 miles southwest of Oakwood, Keechi Creek Well No. 2 is being prepared for drilling by Red Willow Production LLC. It will bottom at 15,500 feet in a wildcat field and will lie in the Eddy Sparks, Survey, A-782.

  • Nacogdoches County

  • In the Trawick (Travis Peak) Field, Exxon Mobil Corp. is preparing to drill the Trawick Gas Unit 10 Well No. 14 to 9,800 feet. Location will be 4.08 miles southeast of Cushing and it will lie in the Bennett, Z Survey, A-9. The well may also be drilled in the Trawick (Pettit) Field, a wildcat field or the Trawick (James)Field.

  • The Black Stone-Pruitt GU 1 Well No. 5 will be located 10.5 miles northwest of Nacogdoches in the Douglass, West (Travis Peak) Field. Samson Lone Star LLC will drill the well to 12,000 feet in the De Los Santos Coy, M & Bros. Survey, A-21. It may be drilled in a wildcat field, the Nacogdoches, East (James Lime) Field, the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field, the Trawick (Pettit) Field or the Miyagi (Pettit) Field.

  • In a lease 12 miles northwest of Nacogdoches, Samson Lone Star LLC is preparing to drill the Chelle Gas Unit 1 Well No. 2 to 12,000 feet in the Douglass, W. (Travis Peak) Field. It will lie in the Brewer, H Survey, A-11. It may also be drilled in the Nacogdoches, E. (James Lime) Field, Miyagi (Pettit) Field and a wildcat field.

  • The Roland Dennis Gas Unit 1 Well No. 5 is being prepared for drilling by Samson Lone Star LLC to 12,000 feet in the Douglass, W. (Travis Peak) Field. Location will be 6.5 miles south of Cushing and it will lie in the Tobar, J Survey, A-54. The well may also be drilled in the Little Ears (Pettit Lime) Field, a wildcat field, and Miyagi (Pettit) Field.

  • Navarro County

    The Central Basin Oil Inv. Inc. is preparing to drill the Bradley Brothers Well No. 25CB to 850 feet in the Corsicana (Shallow) Field. It will be located three miles southeast of Navarro and will lie in the Robertson CSL Survey, A-674

    Panola County

  • The Burnett Unit 9 Well No. 15 is being prepared for drilling by the Lacy Operations LTD. It will bottom at 7,100 feet in the Briggs (Upper Travis Peak) Field and be located 8.1 miles north of Carthage and lie in the Decker, J Survey, A-170.

  • In a lease 9.3 miles southwest of Carthage in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field, Devon Energy Production Co. LP is preparing to drill the Davis, M. L. Well No. 10H. It will bottom at 15,000 feet. The well will lie in the Shields, J Survey, A-588.

  • Anadarko E&P Co. LP is preparing to drill the CGU 7 Well No. 14 to 12,000 feet. It will be located 5.4 miles southwest of Carthage in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. The well will lie in the Hite, J Survey, A-318.

  • A wildcat field will see the Yarborough Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 12 drilled by Chesapeake Operating Inc. 5.9 miles east of Tatum in the Jon. G. Berry Survey, A-53. Total depth will be 12,000 feet and this well may also be drilled in the Beckville, North (Cotton Valley) Field.

  • The Sand Hill Panola SWD Well No. 2 will be drilled 5.7 miles northeast of Deadwood in the Carthage (Travis Peak) Field. Total depth will be 6,000 feet. Operator is Sand Hill Foundation LLC. The well will lie in the Wilson, P R Survey, A-750.

  • Anadarko E&P Co. LP will drill the Caudle, Dahila O Unit 1 Well No. 14 in the Carthage (Cotton Valley) Field. It will be located 5.5 miles southeast of Carthage in the Anderson, B. Jr. Survey, A-7. Total depth will be 12,000 feet.

  • Robertson County

  • The John Blair 'A' Well No. 20 will be drilled by Coronado Energy E&P Co. LLC in a wildcat field. It will be located 10.3 miles northeast of Franklin in the Denson, O Survey, A-126. This well will bottom at 13,500 feet and may also be drilled in the Bald Prairie (Pettit) Field, the Bald Prairie (Travis Peak) Field or the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field.

  • XTO Energy Inc. will drill the Anchicks Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 1 and the Felder Gas Unit Well No. 2 in the Bald Prairie (Cotton Valley Consolidated) Field. The No. 1 well will be located 4.5 miles southwest of Franklin in the McMillan, E Survey, A-222. Total depth will be 14,100 feet. The No. 2 well will be located 15.9 miles northeast of Franklin in the Maria De La Concepcion Marquez Survey, A-25. Total depth will be 15,700 feet.

  • Rusk County

  • Cherokee Water Co. Unit Well No. 13 is being prepared for drilling by Sandridge Exploration and Production LLC to a total depth of 12,000 feet. It will be located 5.4 miles northwest of Tatum in the Oak Hill (Cotton Valley) Field. The well will lie in the Walling, J Survey,A-42.

  • In a lease 2.8 miles north of Tatum, in the Beckville (Pettit 6800) Field, the Carter-Hurst Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 3 will be drilled by H&T Exploration Inc. to 7,400 feet in the Gray, J A Survey, A-343. It may also be drilled in the Tatum, North (Travis Peak) Field, the Henderson, North (Rodessa) Field or a wildcat field.

  • San Augustine County

    The Kirkland Well No. 1 will be drilled 17.5 miles southeast of Broaddus in the Brookeland (Austin Chalk, 8800) Field by KT Operating Co. LLC. Total depth will be 16,000 feet in the Hyden, N Survey, A-22.

    Shelby County

  • Ellora Operating LP will prepare to drill the Alexander Unit Well No. 4H in the Huxley (6100) Field. It will be drilled to 7,500 feet in the Pierpoint, W Survey, A-558, 0.91 miles northwest of Dreka.

  • Hunt Petroleum Corp. will prepare to drill the Childress, J.W. Well No. 10, the Crawford-George Well No. 1 and the Childress, J.W. Well No. 11. The Joaquin (Travis Peak) Field will see the Childress, J.W. Well No. 10 and the Childress, J.W. Well No. 11 drilled 1.3 miles east of Joaquin in the Clark, W H Survey, A-130 with a depth of 9,000 feet. The Huxley (6100) Field will see the Crawford-George Well No. 1 drilled 8.3 miles southeast of Center in the C.C. Tutt Survey, A-726 with a depth of 10,700 feet.

  • In a lease 4.6 miles southwest of Neuville in the Angie (James Lime) Field, the Timberstar-Tuppen Well No. 1H will be drilled by Southwestern Energy Production Co. Total depth will be 7,500 feet in the Alford, M A Survey, A-969, and it may also be drilled in the Huxley (6100) Field or a wildcat field.

  • Southwestern Energy Production Co. will drill the Timberstar-Tuppen Well No. 2H to 7,500 feet in the Angie (James Lime) Field. It will be drilled 4.6 miles southwest of Neuville in the Alford, M A Survey, A-969. The well may also be drilled in the Huxley (6100) Field or a wildcat field.

  • Smith County

    The Tyler State Park Unit "A" Well No. 1 will be drilled 8.7 miles northeast of Tyler in a wildcat field. Total depth will be 10,250 feet in the Flores, F Survey, A-9 by Carrizo Oil & Gas, Inc.

    Upshur County

    The Marshall, T.E. Well No. 2 will be drilled by Valence Operating Co. in the Cedar Springs (Cotton Valley, Lower) Field. It will bottom at 12,500 feet in the Goy, J B Survey, A-168, 7.25 miles northwest of Ore City. The well may also be drilled in the Cedar Springs (Maddox 10730) Field.

    Angelina County

    EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. completed four new wells in the Raintree Field. The Preston Heirs Unit Well No. 9 is located 3.76 miles northeast of Wells with a depth of 11,825 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 6.485 million cubic feet of gas per day. The Angelina Lumber Well No. 1 is located 4.94 miles southeast of Wells with a depth of 11,875 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 5.560 million cubic feet of gas per day. The Ryan, E.M. Unit Well No. 8 is located 2.78 miles northeast of Wells with a depth of 11,806 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 6.356 million cubic feet of gas per day. The Ryan, E.M. Unit Well No. 9 is located 3.64 miles southeast of Wells with a depth of 11,825 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 5.403 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak Consolidated formation.

    Freestone County

  • Anadarko Petroleum Corp. completed the Worthy Well No. 12 and the Jones, Abe "A" Well No. 2. The Worth Well No. 12 is located 1.6 miles south of Donie in the Bear Grass Field to a depth of 14,640 feet. On 48/64-inch choke, it potentialed 847,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation. The Jones, Abe "A" Well No. 2 is located 4.8 miles east of Lanely in the Dowdy Ranch Field to a depth of 15,531 feet. On 48/64-inch choke, it potentialed 2.819 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The HL&P Gas Unit Well No. 22 was completed two miles south of Donie in the Farrar Field. Hunt Petroleum Corp. completed the well to 14,300 feet. On a 17/64-inch choke, it potentialed 3.455 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation.

  • XTO Energy Inc. completed three wells. The Curry Gas Unit Well No. 16 is located 6.20 miles south of Fairfield in the Teague Field with a depth of 12,678 feet and potentialed 2.640 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 15/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley-Bossier Consolidated formation. The Fulton "A" Well No. 10 is located 1.4 miles southeast of Donie in the Bear Grass Field with a depth of 14,420 feet and potentialed 2.870 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation. The Best SWD Well No. 2 is located 7.6 miles northeast of Donie in the Dew Field with a depth of 5,800 feet. No test data was recorded. Production is in the Rodessa formation.

  • The Black "A" Well No. 4 and the Worthy Well No. 4 were completed in the Bear Grass Field by Anadarko Petroleum Corp. The Black "A" Well No. 4 is located six miles south of Fairfield with a depth of 12,900 feet. It potentialed 1,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 12/64-inch choke. The Worthy Well No. 4 is located 1.6 miles south of Donie with a depth of 14,333 feet. It potentialed 977,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 48/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • Gregg County

    The Jones, Alford Gas Unit Well No. 17 is located 9.6 miles southeast of Longview in the Oak Hill Field. It bottoms at 10,822 feet, drilled by Anadarko E&P Co. LP. On an adjustable choke, the well potentialed 592,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

    Harrison County

  • Winchester Production Co. Ltd. completed the Jonesville Well No. 28 in the Waskom Field one mile northeast of Jonesville. It bottoms at 9,800 feet and potentialed 670,000 cubic feet of gas per day on an 18/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Forest Oil Corp. completed three wells. The Stephens No. 1 Unit Well No. 2 is located 11 miles southeast of Jefferson in the Carthage, North Field. It bottoms at 9,985 feet and potentialed 517,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 26/64-inch choke. The Beatrice Key Gas Unit Well No. 3 and the Beatrice Key Gas Unit Well No. 5 were completed in the Woodlawn Field. The No. 3 is located 4.64 miles northwest of Karnack with a depth of 9,850 feet and potentialed 655,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 26/64-inch choke. The No. 5 is located 4.17 miles northwest of Karnack with a depth of 9,810 feet and potentialed 551,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 26/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Narramore Well No. 12 is located 1.25 miles northeast of Jonesville in the Waskom Field. It bottoms at 9,840 feet, drilled by Winchester Production Co. Ltd. On a 16/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.225 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Houston County

    When gauged on a 16/64-inch choke, the Temple Inland A-12 Well No. 1H potentialed 986,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Chesapeake Operating Inc. completed the well 4.3 miles southeast of Weeping Mary in the Decker Switch Field. Production is in the Pettit formation.

    Limestone County

    XTO Energy Inc. has completed the N.E. Shorter Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 4 and the Foley Gas Unit Well No. 5H in the Farrar Field. The No. 4 is located 16.60 miles northeast of Thornton with a depth of 12,960 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.454 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. The No. 5H is located 17.40 miles southeast of Groesbeck with a depth of 16,220 feet. On a 48/64-inch choke, it potentialed 4.254 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley Lime formation.

    Nacogdoches County

  • The Naconiche Creek Field saw the Carlos Dews Gas Unit Well No. 8 completed by Chesapeake Operating Inc. Location is 7.1 miles southwest of Garrison with a depth of 9,428 feet. On an 18/64-inch choke, it potentialed 849,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Rodessa-Travis Peak Consolidated formation.

  • Exxon Mobil Corp. completed the Trawick GU 3 Well No. 13-C and the Trawick GU 21 Well No. 7-C in the Trawick Field. The No. 13-C is located 5.39 miles east of Cushing with a depth of 8,925 feet and potentialed 709,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 0.75-inch choke. The No. 7-C is located 5.51 miles east of Cushing with a depth of 8,900 feet and potentialed 765,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day on a 1-inch choke. Production is in the Pettit formation.

  • When gauged on a 32/64-inch choke, the U.S.A. LB Well No. 1H potentialed 1.330 million cubic feet of gas per day. This well is located 12.50 miles northwest of Lufkin in the Loco Bayou Field. St. Mary Land & Exploration Co. completed it to 14,473 feet. Production is in the James Lime formation.

  • The Herrera, Manuel Well No. 18 is located 14.5 miles east of Nacogdoches in the Nacogdoches, East Field. Samson Lone Star LLC completed the well to 10,616 feet. On a 34/64-inch choke, it potentialed 2.568 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Pettit formation.

  • In a lease four miles west of Garrison, in the Appleby, North Field, the Hart, Max W. Jr. Well No. 02 was completed by Apache Corp. to 12,000 feet. The well was gauged on a 48/64-inch choke and potentialed 258,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Travis Peak formation.

  • Panola County

  • The Holmes, Priestly Unit Well No. 19-H is located 5.6 miles southeast of Carthage in the Carthage Field. Anadarko E&P Co. LP drilled the well to 11,960 feet. On a 57/64-inch choke, it potentialed 5.408 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • When gauged on an adjustable choke, the Neal, John S. Gas Unit Well No. 8 potentialed 429,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. This well is located 6.7 miles southeast of Carthage in the Carthage Field. It was completed to 9,720 feet by Anadarko E&P Co. LP. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Enduring Resources LLC completed the Keeling Family Gas Unit Well No. 2 in the Brachfield, Southeast Field. Location is 3.6 miles southwest of Long Branch with a depth of 10,460 feet. It potentialed 113,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 24/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The CGU 3 Well No. 19 is located 2.2 miles northwest of Carthage in the Carthage Field. Anadarko E&P Co. LP completed it to 9,755 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 1.438 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Minden Field saw the Hammett Well No. 1 completed by Buffco Production Inc. to a depth of 10,834 feet. Location is 3.8 miles southeast of Houston. It potentialed 620,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 12/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • Devon Energy Production Co. LP completed the Hudson, Nell Well No. 19 five miles southwest of Carthage in the Carthage Field. It bottoms at 9,640 feet and potentialed 1.138 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Robertson County

  • In a lease 7.8 miles east of Franklin, in the John Amoruso Field, the South McLean E Well No. 4 was completed by EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. It bottoms at 16,400 feet and potentialed 13.421 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 38/64-inch choke. Production is in the Bossier formation.

  • Burlington Resources O&G Co. LP completed the BR John and Virginia Turner Well No. 1 in the Savell Field. Location is 2.5 miles northwest of Franklin with a depth of 15,700 feet. On a 12/64-inch choke, it potentialed 1.787 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Bossier Sand formation.

  • When gauged on a 15/64-inch choke, the TXU North Well No. 2 potentialed 2.971 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. It was completed 8.5 miles southeast of Kosse in the Bald Prairie Field by Eagle Oil & Gas Co. Total depth is 12,018 feet. Production is in the Cotton Valley Consolidated formation.

  • EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. completed the McLean S Well No. E2 and the Dodds, R. L. Jr. B Well No. 2 in the John Amoruso Field. The No. E2 well is located 7.2 miles east of Franklin with a depth of 16,375 feet. It potentialed 4.251 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 24/64-inch choke. The No. 2 well is located 8.1 miles east of Franklin with a depth of 16,300 feet. It potentialed 21.074 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 30/64-inch choke. The Simpson, Lewis Well No. 2 is located 6.5 miles east of Franklin with a depth of 16,521 feet and potentialed 16.023 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 36/64-inch choke. The Laxson Well No. 3 is located nine miles east of Franklin with a depth of 16,300 feet and potentialed 18.945 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 19/64-inch choke. The Louise Corn Unit Well No. 4 is located 9.7 miles east of Franklin with a depth of 16,560 feet and potentialed 15.035 million cubic feet of gas per day. These three wells are completed in the John Amoruso Field with production in the Bossier formation. The Law Unit Well No. 13 bottoms at 12,750 feet and potentialed 2.421 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 14/64-inch choke. No location was recorded. The K. Martin Unit Well No. 2 is located 9.8 miles northeast of Franklin with a depth of 16,700 feet and potentialed 1.000 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 14/64-inch choke. These two wells are completed in the Bald Prairie Field with production in the Cotton Valley formation. The DCR Well No. 1 is located six miles southeast of Ridge in the Hilltop Resort Field. It bottoms at 18,503 feet and potentialed 6.264 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 34/64-inch choke. Production is in the Bossier formation.

  • When gauged on a 26/64-inch choke, the Meadors Unit WelL No. 5 potentialed 15.642 million cubic feet of gas per day. The well was completed by EnCana Oil & Gas (USA) Inc. to a depth of 16,200 feet, 7.2 miles east of Franklin in the John Amoruso Field. Production is in the Bossier formation.

  • Rusk County

  • The Kennedy G.U. 1 Well No. 8, the Kennedy, Major Estate Gas Unit Well No. 27 and the High Estate Gas Unit Well No. 12 were completed by Anadarko E&P Co. LP in the Oak Hill Field. The No. 8 is located 20.9 miles northeast of Henderson with a depth of 10,571 feet. It potentialed 1.199 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. The No. 27 is located 20 miles northeast of Henderson with a depth of 10,625 feet. It potentialed 1.190 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. The No. 12 is located 4.9 miles northwest of Henderson with a depth of 11,029 feet and potentialed 954,000 cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Enduring Resources LLC completed the Tufco Gas Unit 1 Well No. 7, the Tufco Gas Unit 1 Well No. 8, the Tufco Gas Unit 1 Well No. 9 and the Hays Gas Unit Well No. 1 in the Brachfield, Southeast Field. The No. 7 is located 1.3 miles northwest of Minden with a depth of 10,850 feet and potentialed 1.637 million cubic feet of gas per day on an adjustable choke. The No. 8 and the No. 9 wells are located one mile northwest of Minden. The No. 8 bottoms at 10,880 feet and potentialed 1.576 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on an adjustable choke. The No. 9 bottoms at 10,880 feet and potentialed 1.275 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on an adjustable choke. The No. 1 is located 2.3 miles northwest of Minden with a depth of 10,860 feet and potentialed 1.148 million cubic feet of natural gas per day on an adjustable choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Oak Hill Field has seen the Williamson Unit Well No. 9 drilled by Energen Resources Corp. It bottoms at 10,726 feet, 2.7 miles northwest of Tatum. On a 48/64-inch choke, it potentialed 869,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • In a lease 6.5 miles southwest of Tatum, in the Oak Hill Field, the Williamson Well No. 10 was completed by Verado Energy Inc. It bottoms at 10,583 feet and potentialed 1.822 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 20/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • Forest Oil Corp. completed five additional wells in the Henderson, East Field. The Harmon Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 9 is located six miles northwest of Henderson with a depth of 11,350 feet and potentialed 1.772 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 26/64-inch choke. The Alexander Heirs Gas Unit Well No. 4 is located five miles southwest of Henderson with a depth of 11,299 feet and potentialed 616,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 26/64-inch choke. The Alexander Heirs Gas Unit Well No. 3 is located 5.3 miles southwest of Henderson with a depth of 11,295 feet and potentialed 413,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 26/64-inch choke. The Stroud Gas Unit No. 1 Well No. 5 is located 7.3 miles northwest of Henderson with a depth of 11,275 feet and potentialed 265,000 cubic feet of gas per day on a 26/64-inch choke. The Alexander Heirs Gas Unit Well No. 12 is located 5.8 miles southwest of Henderson with a depth of 11,295 feet and potentialed 1.400 million cubic feet of gas per day on a 28/64-inch choke. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • The Kennedy Gas Unit 2 Well No. 15 is located 21.1 miles northeast of Henderson in the Oak Hill Field. Anadarko E&P Co. LP completed the well to 10,545 feet. On an adjustable choke, it potentialed 863,000 cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • San Augustine County

    When gauged on a 48/64-inch choke, the Katherine Van Goetz Well No. 1 potentialed 5.797 million cubic feet of gas per day. Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. completed the well seven miles west of San Augustine in the Angie Field. Total depth is 13,546 feet. Production is in the James Lime formation.

    Shelby County

  • KCS Resources Inc. completed the Alice W. Johnson Well No. 2 in the Carthage Field. Location is within city limits of Joaquin in the Carthage Field with a depth of 9,860 feet. On a 34/64-inch choke, it potentialed 258,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.

  • When gauged on a 1-inch choke, the Timberstar-Rusk B 593 potentialed 4.454 million cubic feet of natural gas per day. It is located two miles southeast of Aiken in the Angie Field. Cabot Oil & Gas Corp. completed it to 12,338 feet. Production is in the James Lime formation.

  • The Lout, Mike & Trish Gas Unit Well No. 1-H is located 3.6 miles southwest of Shelbyville in the Huxley Field. It bottoms at 13,250 feet, drilled by Hunt Petroleum Corp. On a 48/64-inch choke, the well potentialed 1.059 million cubic feet of gas per day. Production is in the 6100 formation.

  • Upshur County

    The Barksdale, John Well No. 15 is located five miles north of Gladewater in the Glenwood Field. EXCO Operating Co. LP completed the well to 11,010 feet. On a 24/64-inch choke, it potentialed 485,000 cubic feet of natural gas per day. Production is in the Cotton Valley formation.
