Azalea Orthopedics Hosts Free Sports Medicine Conference Saturday
Azalea Orthopedics is hosting a free sports medicine conference 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Rose Garden Center. The goal is to educate parents about sports injuries and prevention, said Leslie Fossey, marketing director.

“We are seeing a skyrocketing number of children who are playing organized sports in the United States including East Texas,” said Kim Foreman, orthopedics surgeon and sports medicine specialist for Azalea Orthopedics. “With that growing number, we are also seeing an alarming number of children with serious sports injuries and at very young ages.”

Lunch is provided and reservations are required. To register, call 903-595-2492, extension 284, or register online at azaleaortho.com.

Azalea Orthopedics has sports medicine fellowship trained orthopedics surgeons, sports trainers and staff who provide sports injury services.
