Smith County Grand Juries Hand Up Indictments
A Smith County grand jury handed up 22 indictments Thursday in 7th District Judge Kerry Russell’s court. The true bills, released this week, include:

  • David Botello, 43, Lindale, driving while intoxicated, Dec. 6;

  • Roger Gaskill, 30, 20912 County Road 26; injury to a child, June 2;

  • Roger Guess, 48, Kilgore, driving while intoxicated, May 18;

  • Ruben Hernandez, 42, 11300 U.S. Highway 271, sexual assault, May 2;

  • Tasha Lacy, 32, 1713 N. Pegues Ave., engaging in organized criminal activity, May 2;

  • Daphanie Lee, 35, Watauga, tampering with evidence, forgery, March 2;

  • Rhonda Mansfield, 42, 633 N. Broadway Ave., theft, May 30;

  • Erica Martin, 22, Hallsville, intoxication man-slaughter, May 13;

  • Kimberly Moreno, 25, 308 E. Queen St., two counts of forgery, June 22 and June 30;

  • Ryan Orrick, 22, Whitehouse, theft, June 3;

  • Billy Raibon, 38, Ben Wheeler, aggravated assault, Feb. 19;

  • Mark Richardson, 38, 825 SSE Loop 323, driving while intoxicated, June 7;

  • Patrick Ross, 41, Jacksonville, driving while intoxicated, March 31;

  • Broderick Shurme, 27, 3227 Brookhollow Drive, injury to a child, May 31;

  • Robert Sullivan, 36, 6136 Whispering Lane, driving while intoxicated, April 28;

  • Lisa Thompson, 40, Geismar, La., driving while intoxicated with a child, May 23;

  • Lisa Tucker, 39, 1826 N. Gaston Ave., possession of a controlled substance, April 7;

  • Nicky Weaver, 17, 10449 Peterson Road, aggravated robbery, Dec. 7;

  • Larry Yauch, 49, Bullard, driving while intoxicated, May 15;

  • Cary Yother, 40, Dallas, burglary of a building, May 30.

  • Amber Fontana, 32, 3122 Decharles St., prescription fraud, June 10;

  • Donna Franklin, 41, Bullard, prescription fraud, June 2;

  • Curtis Johnson, 24, Troup, assault on a public servant, June 6;

  • Joshua Johnson, 24, 2406 Terilinga Drive, two counts of prescription fraud, Dec. 7;

  • Larry Johnson, 52, Bullard, possession of a controlled substance, May 23;

  • Curtis Littles, 32, 521 S. Augusta Ave., possession of a controlled substance in a drug-free zone, April 9;

  • Kemmon Miller, 30, Lindale, possession of a controlled substance, April 18;
