Chamber Director Positions Up For Election
Fourteen nominees will vie for seven seats on the Tyler Area Chamber of Commerce board of directors.
The chamber’s nominating committee chose 14 members of the community for the positions coming open at the end of the chamber’s fiscal year. Chamber members are receiving an annual survey and a ballot for them to select the seven new board members.
The chamber has used this process of electing new directors for seven years. The newly elected directors will be introduced at the October board meeting.
Nominees are: Paula Anthony, East Texas Medical Center Regional Healthcare System; Shannon Dacus, Ramey-Flock Law Firm; Jonna Fitzgerald, U.S. Rep. Louie Gohmert’s district office; Dawn Franks, Fourth Partner Foundation; Candice Gast, AT&T; Rocky Gill, Express Employment Professionals; and David Hudson of Perdue, Brandon, Fielder, Collins & Mott.
Also, Jamal Moharer, Moharer Enterprises; Tom San Miguel, Choice 1 Realty; Tom Tyler, Tyler Beverage; Robert Westbrook, Cici’s Pizza; Patty Steelman, Austin Bank; Jim Toman, Jim Toman Insurance; and Stephen P. Carter, Boren-Scott Title Co.
This year’s nominating committee consisted of Ms. Anthony, San Miguel and Felicity Reedy.
