BRYAN — The East Texas Pump Jacks scored two runs in the top of the ninth inning to beat Brazos Valley, 6-5, Thursday night at BVB Ballpark.

Keenan Duke scored on a passed ball and Paige Hodges knocked in Pat McCrory with a double.

East Texas’ Matt Shelton improved to 2-1 on the mound in two innings of no-hit relief.

The game was delayed more than an hour.
