Azalea Trail Officially Open


  • East Texas Porcelain Art Exhibit and Sale, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, The Woman's Building, 911 S. Broadway Ave. Free Admission.

  • Tyler Rotary Chili Cook-off, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dobbs Street, next to The Woman's Building, 911 S. Broadway Ave. Tickets are $5 for one bowl of throwdown chili and a cold drink.

  • Azalea Trail Arts and Crafts Fair, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Bergfeld Park, 1510 S. College Ave. Free admission.

  • Four Winds Renaissance Faire, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday through April 20, 21778 County Road 2138. Admission is $12 for adults, $6 for children ages 5-12, and free for children younger than 5.

  • Events for March 27-30

  • Penny Nichols-Sanders School of Fine Art Annual Spring Art Show, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday-Saturday, The Woman's Building, 911 S. Broadway Ave. Free admission.

  • Tyler Azalea 10K, 8 a.m. Sunday, Bergfeld Park. Registration is $15-$30.

  • Main Street Flower Market, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Goodman Museum grounds, 624 N. Broadway Ave. Free admission.

  • Quilters' Guild of East Texas 26th Annual Quilt Show, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Harvey Convention Center, 2000 W. Front St. Tickets are $6 for adults, $5 for seniors 65+ and children.

  • Cascades New Home Show and Art Exhibit, noon to 6 p.m. daily, March 28 to April 6, Cascades Country Club, 2611 Cascade Golf Club Drive. Admission is $10.

  • Spirits of Oakwood Walking History Tour, 1 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oakwood Cemetery, on the corner of Palace Ave. and Oakwood St. Admission is $5 per person; children 10 and under are free.

  • Camp Ford Civil War Reenactment, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Camp Ford Historic Park, intersection of State Highway 271 and Camp Ford Parkway. Free admission.
