2007 Rose Festival Escort: William Freeman Smith
William Freeman Smith, son of Mrs. Dabney Freeman Smith and Chris Smith of Dallas, is a sophomore at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth where he is majoring in business. Smith is a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity.
Smith is a 2006 graduate of Highland Park High School where he was a member of the National Honor Society.
Family members who have participated in past Rose Festivals include his mother, Dabney Freeman Smith, 1970 Duchess of Dallas and aunt, Megan Elizabeth Freeman, 1980 lady-in-waiting.
Smith is escorting Duchess Kathryn Jeanette Linville.
